A GRATEFUL FAREWELL!
Mark Fournier is retiring after 13 years of dedicated service with dual roles as Delivery Driver and as Safety Coordinator for Divina/Phoenix Products’ two facilities in Terryville, CT.
DEDICATED DELIVERY DRIVER
Mark has been a vital team member by providing exceptional service and support to you, our valued customers. He takes pride in his work, and his shared passion for our company and your business’s successful future has been evident in everything he does. As part of Divina/Phoenix’s delivery driver team, Mark’s responsibility has been to transport products from our manufacturing facilities to retail customers in our local Northeast territory—ensuring the safety and timely delivery of your products. His tasks included: communicating with dispatchers, securing cargo, keeping track of his working hours, correcting mechanical issues, planning routes, complying with regulations, performing vehicle inspection reports, verifying loads for accuracy, and recording cargo deliveries. With his top-notch customer service skills, Mark is experienced, safety-conscious, and has always been focused on delivering your products with the utmost care.
SAFETY COORDINATOR
Since 2020, Mark has also been Divina/Phoenix’s Safety Coordinator. He has been responsible for ensuring workplace safety by overseeing and managing activities that reduce the risk of accidents within Divina/ Phoenix. His role involved developing and implementing policies to promote occupational health and safety awareness and monitoring operations to eliminate hazardous activities.
In addition to working closely with top management and employees to develop safety policies, Mark conducted safety audits, maintained incident records, and inspected equipment to ensure safety guidelines were followed. Effective communication, problem-solving, and expertise in OSHA safety disciplines and regulations have been key skills required for this role.
Mark’s primary objective as the Safety Coordinator has been to create a healthy and safe workplace by applying regulations to manufacturing operations and identifying potential dangers to ensure the safety of workers at all times.
A GRATEFUL FAREWELL
Mark says, “It’s time for me to take some time off and spend it with my wife and family and explore some new endeavors. I feel extremely fortunate to have been part of the Phoenix Products team. I want to express my sincere gratitude to John and Larry Haase for giving me the opportunity to work with them and for their unwavering support. I would also like to thank my supervisor, Chris Naples, for his constant guidance and support throughout the years—he has always had my back. I am grateful to all.
To our Phoenix team and valued customers, to me you are like family. Working with you has been an absolute honor and a privilege. I could not have asked for a more dedicated and supportive group of people to work with. Please know that you will all be missed. As I embark on this new journey, I wish you all good health, happiness, and be safe.”
