DRIVER SPOTLIGHT ­— Our Dedicated Phoenix & Divina Drivers

Position:  CDL Drivers 

At Phoenix Products and Divina, our hardworking CDL drivers keep everything moving — literally! Every day, they’re out on the road making safe, accurate, and on-time deliveries throughout New England.

Our drivers do much more than get your order from point A to point B. They plan the best routes, load and unload trucks with care, make sure every product is secured properly, and keep their vehicles clean and ready to roll. They also handle delivery paperwork, collect payments, and always follow safety and DOT regulations — all while representing Phoenix and Divina with professionalism and pride.

With Class A licenses and hazmat endorsements, our team goes the extra mile — in every sense of the word — to ensure every customer receives the exceptional service they deserve.  

Drivers

Meet Ted Grobben! Ted joined Phoenix/Divina in 2009, bringing a wealth of knowledge to our transportation team, applying his extensive driving experience. He quickly established a reputation for reliability, precision, and a dedication to customer satisfaction. He has now been with our team for 16 years and counting! He approaches his work with the spirit of commitment and focus. He takes pride in personally loading his truck for every route to make sure products arrive exactly as they left the warehouse. 

Before joining Phoenix/Divina, Ted worked as a driver for Litco Supply Inc. for seven years and spent over 20 years delivering home heating oil to homeowners — an experience that has built both his skills and deepened his care for customers. 

Personal Message: Ted shares, “Providing a quality delivery experience to our customers is very important to me. From the moment I load the truck, I double-check every detail — the order, the packaging, and the way it’s secured, because I want our customers to receive their products in perfect condition and on time. Every delivery is an opportunity to represent Phoenix/Divina with pride and to build trust with our customers, and I take that commitment personally. It always makes me happy to make our customers smile. To all of our customers, I truly appreciate your loyalty and support over the years. Every delivery reminds me that we’re part of your success, and that’s something I don’t take lightly. Thank you for trusting Phoenix/Divina and me to help keep your business moving forward.”

Introducing Ronald “Ron” Ardry, Jr., who has been part of the Phoenix/Divina team since 2010. Our thanks to Ron, as that is over 15 years of reliable, full-time service! Before joining us, he worked for nearly a decade with Bozzuto’s Inc., a wholesale food and household products distributor, and another 9–10 years with Overnight Transportation (now UPS Freight). With that kind of experience, it’s no wonder our customers trust him to get the job done right!

When asked about his role, Ron simply answers: “I load and deliver to our customers whatever they have on order.” Yet his actions speak volumes as to being a delivery driver extraordinaire. He is outstanding and highly skilled at his job, consistently in going above and beyond, taking pride in ensuring each delivery is accurate, on time, and delivered with a genuine smile. 

Personal Message: Ron shares, “Getting our customers what they need, when they need it, is of the highest importance to me. I value the genuine friendships I have built over the years with so many of our customers. We share stories, jokes, and life updates, and I look forward to seeing them on my routes. That connection makes the job meaningful. I take a lot of pride in representing Phoenix and Divina the right way, and I think our customers feel that. I even wear the customer t-shirts they’ve given me almost as often as my Phoenix and Divina shirts. It’s a reminder of the great relationships that come from doing what I love!”

Meet Jay Hernandez, who joined our CDL Drivers team in 2024. When it comes to getting the job done right—and early—Jay is the one you can count on. Known for his efficiency, attention to detail, and commitment to safety, Jay takes pride in representing Phoenix/Divina on the road and in front of customers.

 

Jay keeps close communication with both our production team and customers to ensure every order runs smoothly from start to finish. He double-checks that all items are loaded, notes any backorders, and keeps customers informed every step of the way. Each morning, Jay personally loads his truck and carefully inspects every shipment, including Hazmat materials, before hitting the road. Covering routes across Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York, Jay takes pride in making sure every delivery arrives safely, accurately, and on schedule.

 

Before joining Phoenix, Jay worked for AirGas for over two years, delivering propane and gases such as oxygen and CO₂—servicing major accounts like Yale University. He also worked as a shuttle and yard jockey for Macy’s, moving trailers and merchandise.

 

Personal Message:   Jay shares, “We’re the first people our customers see, and it’s a great opportunity to get to know them and their locations. Understanding how each site is set up helps ensure the easiest and fastest deliveries. It is important to make a good impression, deliver products safely and without damage, and keep our customers informed and delivering the highest level of service.”

Lead times from invoice to shipment vary based on the product category.

Current lead times are:

  • Divina Brand Products
    3 to 6 Weeks
  • Private Label Products
    6 to 8 Weeks
  • 10+ Pallets Divina Brand & Private Label
    6 to 8 Weeks

New Finance Charges Now In Effect – Effective July 1, 2025

Over the past few months, we’ve shared updates about our upcoming billing policy change. This is a friendly—but important—reminder that finance charges on past-due balances are now in effect.

Here’s what to know:

  • Rate: 1.75% per month on any outstanding balance
  • When Applied: Calculated on the last day of each month, compounding until the balance is paid in full
  • Statements: Updated account statements will reflect finance charges (no separate invoice will be issued)


If you have an unpaid balance, we encourage you to bring your account current now to avoid additional charges. Our team is happy to review your account, payment options, or credit terms if needed.
